Gipsy Boy'. Small, tight sprays of dark crimson purple, Old Rose-style flowers, with a little white at the centre. Early summer flowering. An exceptionally strong, bushy and prickly shrub with hard, dark green foliage. Very tough; ideal for a poor position. Lambert, 1869.
