We are delighted to announce that our rose garden at the Chelsea Flower Show has been awarded a gold medal.

The garden provided the backdrop for the launch of three new varieties, Emily Brontë, Tottering-by-Gently and The Mill on the Floss, which were positioned at focal points within the display.  Pergolas festooned in roses encapsulate walkways, which lead you to a quiet enclave surrounded by fragrant, climbing roses and a table dressed with a quintessential English afternoon tea.  A quiet, reflective space to stop and smell the roses.

The display showcases the versatility and beauty of the rose incorporating shrubs, climbers, ramblers as well as standard roses – over 400 roses were included.  A key feature was using the beautiful white rose Desdemona, as a hedge to create a fragrant boundary and welcome to the many visitors who enjoyed the garden.

The intention is always to inspire visitors and hopefully for them to recreate part of the display in their own garden at home so they too can enjoy fragrant blooms throughout the summer months.
